With the announcement of its third season lineup, the McKnight Center for the Performing Arts at Oklahoma State University is setting itself up to emerge from the pandemic while reigniting peopleâs passion for the arts.Â
During an announcement Saturday, the McKnight Center unveiled its season lineup headlined by country megastar Tim McGraw and Broadway legend Bernadette Peters.Â
With the goal of providing as entertaining of a season as possible and plenty of educational opportunities for OSU and Stillwater Public Schools students, this season is shaping up to be the best so far for the McKnight Center.

Oklahoma State Superintendent Joy Hofmeister had the chance to talk to students on her advisory council from across the state on topics like mental health, college prep, and teacher concerns.
Hofmeister says these students will be remembered for living through the pandemic, and people will ask them about their experiences for years to come.
She then opened the floor to the students.
Kaden Casteel from Stillwater Public Schools talked about how teachers have had to adapt to the pandemic saying in part, Just because the format has changed, doesn t mean teacher effort has changed. Teachers are struggling just as much as we are.

Charlie Fowler, the former owner of Consumers IGA, died Wednesday morning at age 80 from complications of COVID-19.
The word icon may be overused. But it certainly applies to Charlie Fowler, the man Stillwater residents have known for almost five decades as someone they could count on for a warm welcome as they shopped for their groceries. He was easy to recognize with his head of silver hair, the trademark tie he wore because he believed it wa
