Deborah Brewer In loving memory of Deborah Brewer (nee Amelia Deborah Hibberd), born 30 07 1925, died 16 01 2021 aged 95 years, peacefully at the Florence Nightingale Hospice in Stoke Mandeville. Dearly beloved wife, mum and grandma and former teacher at Downley school. She was a long term resident and lover of the village, and a great contributor to community life. The funeral will be held at the Woodlands burial site in Seer Green on 26 02 2021 at 1 pm. If you would like to attend, please contact the family as numbers are of necessity limited at the moment. If you would like to pay your respects Deborah s last journey will take place on Friday 26 2, leaving David Silvey funeral directors, Westbourne Street at 12 noon, up the Pastures to Downley village, going along Plomer Green Avenue, up Grays Lane and along Commonside, then along Littleworth Road and on to the burial site. Harold Desmond Des Shelley Passed away on Wednesday 20 January 2021 at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Buckinghamshire, after succumbing to a long-standing battle with pneumonia, aged 92 years. Des will be greatly missed by his children, Natalie, Harold, Richard and Damir, his sister Cynthia, his grandchildren Alana, Alex, Greg, Andrew, David, Enzo and Rylee, and his great grandchildren Leo and Zach.
