Cash, cars and a cherry picker seized in midlands raids Thursday, July 29, 2021 One of the vehicles that was seized in the search operation today CASH, cars, designer watches and a cherry picker were seized in the midlands today by gardaí and the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB). A total of €10,000 in cash, together with financial documents, was uncovered in ten different locations as part of a major search operation. This morning’s raids were part of an ongoing CAB investigation into assets, including properties linked to what gardaí describe as “a significant midlands-based organised crime gang” believed to be involved in the sale and supply of drugs and vehicle crime.
