Breaking: COVID-19 outbreak declared over at Stratford General Hospital SHARE ON: A COVID-19 outbreak at the Stratford General Hospital has been declared over. The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says the outbreak in the Medicine Unit at SGH has been declared over by Huron Perth Public Health. The outbreak was first declared on December 3rd after two staff tested positive for COVID-19. Seven staff members in total were affected by the outbreak while no patients acquired the virus while in hospital. With no further cases, the Medicine Unit has been reopened to admissions and transfers.
