Strathroy-Caradoc Police issued another notice this week that vehicle thefts continue to increase in the county. Police continue to battle with a rash of recent vehicle thefts and they are seeing older style pickup trucks targeted however, all vehicles are at risk. The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service wants to send out a reminder to the Community to ensure you secure your vehicle as best as you can.
Police suggest the following safety tips;
• Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and all windows are fully up and secure.
• Do not leave any valuables in the vehicle.

On Saturday of this past weekend, Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service responded to a Break and Enter call at a vacant residence on Front Street in Strathroy. Local Police with assistance from London Police K9 unit found and arrested a 29-year-old man on the property. A 30-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were also later found and arrested in regards to this investigation. All three adults were charged with Break and Enter and will appear in court on April 20th. Strathroy-Caradoc Police want to thank the London Police and their K9 unit for assisting with this investigation.

Local Police are looking for information regarding a suspicious incident. Strathroy-Caradoc Police say on Friday of last week between 10:40 am and 2:00 pm, when a small black drone was seen flying over the school yard at North Meadows Public School at 82 Middlesex Drive, Strathroy. The staff members became suspicious when the same drone was seen at both recesses. As a result the teaching staff ushered the children inside for their safety, and the drone subsequently left the area. If anyone has any information about this incident or who the owner of this drone is please contact the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
· Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
· Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
· Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
· 4 counts of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (ATTRIDGE ONLY)
· Failure to comply with undertaking (RIVARD ONLY)
Attridge was additionally charged with 5 counts of Fraud Under $5000 in relation to a local Concrete business he owns and operates out of Strathroy-Caradoc.
