JOHNSTON, S.C.; July 20, 2021 Generating hype for the Strom Thurmond Rebels football team has never been an issue, but the hype will get taken to another level in 2021 with the addition of a new live midweek show called Rebel RELOAD. Banks Pharmacy in Edgefield will be the presenting sponsor for the show.
The show, which will take place at Edgefield Pool Room each Tuesday night at 7 p.m. beginning August 17, will feature a segment with Head Football Coach Antwaun Hillary, each week’s Farm Bureau Insurance Player of the Game, and various coaches from other sports. The show will take place live and will also be broadcast through the Rebel Radio Network, which can be accessed at the following link: https://rebelsw.in/football2021.

(CNSNews.com) - One of the people who questioned President Joe Biden at a CNN town hall Wednesday night aligned herself with the Democrats drive to abolish the filibuster, which would completely sideline the minority party which now happens to be the Republican Party.
With a narrow margin in the House and a one-vote margin in the Senate, Democrats hardly have a mandate to squelch Republicans, but no matter. Many Democrats have indicated they d have no qualms about ramming through their agenda without a single Republican vote.
Ross Perot is a candidate for president because a lot of people want him to be. He has acted in a very clever, innovative way to arouse and build that support, but the support truly did arise and grow. That means that Perot’s campaign is a pure expression of democracy. But the press is treating Perot with contempt. It describes his campaign not as a legitimate popular cause but as a threat to everything that is good in American democracy. He is, according to the
New Republic, “worse than a disgrace to the American system. He is a danger to it.”
