Jamestown Man Facing Terrorizing Charges After Monday Incident

(NewsDakota.com) – A man is in custody and facing possible charges of terrorizing after an incident in northeast Jamestown Monday. Kyle Wegleitner, 30, is currently being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center on two ending charges of terrorizing. He is accused of becoming involved in an altercation Monday afternoon in the 800 block of 7th street Northeast. Police say he was speaking to an acquaintance when another male pushing a bike approached. Police say he then brandished a weapon. He was accused of displaying a weapon and making threats to the same individual later in the afternoon. He was taken into custody just before 3 AM Tuesday.

Vehicle Pursuit of Wanted Subject in Jamestown Thursday

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A man is in custody after leading police on a pursuit Thursday afternoon. On January 14th, a Jamestown Police Officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation just after 2 PM in the 800 block of 4th Avenue NE. Major Justin Blinksy reports the vehicle immediately fled from officers in a reckless manner. It was determined the male driver was wanted on a warrant and had a passenger in the vehicle. The vehicle fled through northeast Jamestown before leaving city limits on Stutsman County Road 40. The vehicle drove on several gravel county roads before entering the town of Spiritwood.

Submitted photo Raids conducted by the Stutsman County Narcotics Task Force resulted in the seizure of cash and drugs valued at nearly $300,000, according to Chad Kaiser, Stutsman County sheriff. Kaiser said a search warrant was served at two locations on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8. During the Dec. 7 raid at 1010 Western Park Village officers seized approximately 2 pounds of methamphetamine, several grams of commercial THC products, approximately a half-pound of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and several pieces of drug paraphernalia for the use and distribution of controlled substances.
