JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man is dead following a one-vehicle rollover crash in Stutsman County on Sunday afternoon.
The 61-year old male was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado on I-94 near Medina shortly after 1 p.m. on Sunday when he over corrected, rolled into the ditch and was ejected from the vehicle near mile marker 231. The North Dakota Highway Patrol report that road conditions were icy and wet during the time of the crash. The driver was not wearing his seatbelt.
The man was transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center where he died of his injuries. His name has not been released and the crash remains under investigation.
The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in finding a reported missing elderly man.
Sheriff Chad Kaiser reports that 87 year-old Arvin Ellingson of Carrington was last seen in Southwest Stutsman County. He is 5 foot, 11 inches tall with blond hair and blue eyes. He was seen driving a grey 2012 Toyota Tundra with North Dakota Plates 599 AHN.
Sheriff Kaiser says they are working on issuing a Stutsman County Alert and a Silver Alert may be issued. No photo was immediately available.

The Jamestown Police Department arrested a Jamestown man on several charges after using a Taser on him twice after a reported domestic incident Saturday.
Police were dispatched at about 10:09 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, to a 911 hang up call at 408 Business Loop West, the Two Rivers Inn West Motel. Dispatch attempted to call the phone number back and the individual who answered the phone reported it was a misdial. Officers responded to verify there was no emergency, determining the individuals involved were in a relationship and were having an argument but no physical violence had occurred. It was determined no crime had been committed at that time and officers left.

JAMESTOWN, ND (KFGO News Dakota) – The Stutsman County Narcotics Task Force conducted two large drug busts over the past two days in Jamestown.
Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser said on Monday, a search was conducted at 1010 Western Park Village.
“During the search, officers located approximately 2 pounds of methamphetamine, several grams of commercial THC products, approximately a half-pound of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and several pieces of drug paraphernalia for the use and distribution of controlled substances,” Sheriff Kaiser reported.
On Tuesday, a search was conducted at 502 13th St. SE #7. “During that search, officers found an additional 2.5 pounds of methamphetamine, a half-pound of marijuana and several pieces of drug paraphernalia,” Sheriff Kaiser added.
