JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Earlier this month, the Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) proposed an incentive package as part of the agreement for ADM to build a $350 million soybean crushing plant to Spiritwood.
The more $2.5 million incentive package covered by the city and Stutsman County. JSDC CEO Connie Ova says they’ll refer to ADM as “Company X” until the beginning of June.

Strategically located in a major soybean producing area, ADM’s global logistics network will enable the facility to access both domestic and global markets for soybean oil and meal. The facility is expected to be complete prior to the 2023 harvest.

ADM announced plans Monday for a $350 million soybean crushing plant at the Spiritwood Energy Park Association industrial park.
The plans include redeveloping the former Cargill Malt plant for use in processing soybeans. ADM confirmed that the plant would produce soybean meal and vegetable oil for food, feed, industrial and fuel customers, including producers of renewable diesel.
