Isaiah Brown, 32, was taken to a local hospital after the shooting early Wednesday with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to statements from the Virginia State Police, which said its Bureau of Criminal Investigation s Culpeper Field Office Police Shooting Investigation Team was investigating at the request of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff s Office.

SPOTSYLVANIA Co., Va. (WWBT) - The Spotsylvania Branch of the NAACP says it has arranged for the Spotsylvania County Sheriffâs Office to release the bodycam footage of the deputy-involved shooting that happened on April 21.
The Spotsylvania Branch NAACP says the victimâs family will be able to view the footage before it is released to the public.
VSP said the sheriffâs office was called again to the residence a short time later. The call to 911 was categorized as a domestic situation between Brown and a family member.
