SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd witnessed volume of 541.55 lakh shares by 10:48 IST on BSE, a 353.98 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.53 lakh shares. The stock dropped 1.57% to Rs.925.25. Volumes stood at 1.37 lakh shares in the last session.
Sobha Ltd clocked volume of 4.48 lakh shares by 10:48 IST on BSE, a 22.82 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 19638 shares. The stock gained 1.23% to Rs.452.35. Volumes stood at 5388 shares in the last session.

NEW DELHI: BNP Paribas Cardif on Friday sold over 5 crore shares in SBI Life Insurance for an undisclosed amount through the open market sale, bringing its shareholding to less than 1 per cent in the insurer. The French insurer held a 5.20 per cent stake in SBI Life before selling a major part of its stake in the company.
In a disclosure to exchanges, SBI Life said the foreign promoter of the company has sold 4.99 per cent, equivalent to 5,00,03,480 equity shares on March 12, 2021, through the open market process.
The remaining equity of BNP Paribas Cardif now stands at 0.20 per cent, representing 20,03,612 equity shares of SBI Life.

NEW DELHI: Around 4 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Monday s session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE were: Best Agrolife, BCL Industries, Patel Integrated - Rights Entitlement and SMC Global Securities. Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 30.50 points up at 14986.7, while the BSE Sensex was trading 143.68 points up at 50584.75. On the other hand, Godrej Industries, SBI Life, Adani Power, Poly Medicure and Blue Dart Express stocks hit their fresh 52-week high today.
In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, Kotak Bank, HDFC Life, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, BPCL, Indian Oil Corp, GAIL, PowerGrid and ONGC were among the top losers.
