The Springfield-Greene County Health Department announced that several free COVID vaccination clinics will be open to people ages 12 and up.
The health department and community partners will hold six vaccination clinics with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Anyone 12 and older is now eligible to be vaccinated.
This decision comes after the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services authorized the Pfizer vaccine to adolescents ages 12 to 15 years old, following the recommendation of federal authorities.
The clinics run from Friday, May 14 to Saturday, May 22. Appointments aren’t required, but those interested in signing up for a clinic can do so at www.vaccine417.com.
