ATLANTA - There are many things Wanda Cooper Jones misses about her son, Ahmaud Arbery. Ahmaud was loved. Anybody that was around Ahmaud knew he was a young guy of love and he told you that. He didn t shy away from those three words I love you, Cooper-Jones said. I mean, I get lost with my words and thoughts because we lost a lot there, she added.

Defense in Ahmaud Arbery case one year later
On the eve of the anniversary of the deadly shooting of Ahmaud Arbery, the defense said it is ready to move forward in the case.
ATLANTA - This week marks one year since Ahmaud Arbery was gunned down in Glynn County and his family still waits for justice to be served.
Arbery was shot and killed in Brunswick, but his death gained national attention when a video of the shooting went viral.

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The house on Boykin Ridge Drive hasn’t had a soul in it since February 23, 2020.

“We grew up together in that house,” a soft-toned but collected Cooper-Jones says.
