6 Shot in Ohio at Event Celebrating Life of Deceased Person; 2 in Custody, Gov. DeWine Says

Six people are in the hospital after a shooting Wednesday morning in Springfield, Ohio during a celebration of life, Ohio State Highway Patrol reported. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said two people are in custody.
Springfield Police Division Lt. Randall Ballentine said police had received reports around 1:48 a.m. Wednesday of multiple gunshots in the 1900 block of South Yellow Springs Street.
Police received more reports that multiple people had been shot while emergency crews were on the way, Ballentine said.
DeWine spoke about the shooting during a video conference before signing a bill that would provide assistance to schools and other organizations due the coronavirus pandemic,
