Drive-Thru Job Fair Being Held Thursday Morning

The event will be in the parking lot from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  20 employers are expected to be in attendance for the unusual style hiring event. People going are encouraged to bring a resume with them.  You can read more with the press release below… The Missouri Job Center in Springfield is hosting a Drive Thru Job Fair on Thursday, April 29, from 9:30- 11:30 am in the parking lot of the Missouri Job Center, 2900 E. Sunshine.

UO, OSU and high schools helping students get COVID-19 vaccine

All Oregonians 16 and up became eligible for the vaccine on Monday. Posted: Apr 19, 2021 6:48 PM Updated: Apr 19, 2021 7:05 PM Posted By: Jaewon Jung LANE COUNTY, Ore. School districts and universities in Lane County are preparing to vaccinate the newly-eligible population: all Oregonians 16 years and older. Among those who are eligible are college students. The University of Oregon said they have been partnering with local agencies to provide access to vaccines to their staff and students. Vaccination clinics on campus will be held on April 21 and are now full. UO students said they are excited to get their shots. I m actually an out-of-state student and I have to go on flights every time I go home, said UO freshman Elizabeth Yost. It was really stressful without being vaccinated so I m really looking forward to having that extra security.
