After 100 days of operation, the second deployment of the DCU Center Field Hospital is coming to an end Monday.
Tonight, all staff and patients will be out of the state s last remaining COVID-19 field hospital. Since December, 652 patients have been treated at the DCU Center, and in its two deployments over the past year, more than 950 patients total have come through the facility’s doors.
As of Monday morning, one patient is remaining receiving care. It will be determined later in the day whether that patient will be discharged or transferred to UMass Memorial.
