SPOKANE, Wash Trevor Lesesne is like most teenagers, enjoying hanging out with his friends, biking, and using his trampoline. But when COVID-19 caused national shutdowns, Lesesne had to cut back on doing the activities he loved.
The change in lifestyle and routine sparked bouts of depression in the teenager. Despite enjoying online school over in-person school, Lesesne struggled with the restrictions placed on day-to-day life.

SPOKANE, Wash. The highly contested decision about a new downtown stadium for the Spokane Public School District is expected to come to an end on Wednesday.
The school board will vote on the issue in a public meeting over Zoom that begins at 5 p.m. To attend the meeting, register on the school district s website.

“This situation is considered confined and not considered an outbreak,” it reads in a release from SPS.
The school district’s contact tracing team is now in the process of finding close contacts, meaning anyone who spent more than 15 minutes within six feet of the person infected.
If you don’t receive a message from contact tracers, then the district has determined you and your child are not being considered as a close contact, it reads in the release.
Just five people connected to elementary schools within the Spokane Public School District were battling COVID-19 as of Feb. 18, according to the most recent update from the district’s COVID dashboard.
