BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The Exceptional Foundation and the Junior League of Birmingham (JLB) announced that it is hosting the 18th annual Prom with safety precautions for all attendees.
This year’s event is on Sunday, May 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Club (1 Robert Smith Drive, Birmingham). The event is held annually for those with special needs in the Birmingham community enrolled in the Foundation. The Exceptional Foundation Prom 2021 (Source: WBRC FOX6 News)
WATERTOWN â David W. Graham, 53, of West Main Street, was charged by Jefferson County sheriffâs deputies Saturday with second-degree harassment and third-degree stalking.
Deputies said that he called the unidentified victim numerous times Saturday in the town of Watertown, despite having been advised previously not to contact her. He also allegedly followed the victimâs vehicle, placing her in fear of physical harm.
He was arraigned in City Court and released on his own recognizance. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the alleged victim.
Malik R. Youmans, 25, of 497 Newell St., Apt. 102, was charged by city police Sunday with second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

The event will run from April 16-24. First to compete will be the U14 and U15 athletes. The action starts from 8am Friday at Maroochydore beach with ironman and ironwoman and surf and board races throughout the day. The final events will be the under 14 male and female surf race finals. Sprints and beach relays will take place at Mooloolaba from 2pm Friday. Saturday s beach events at Mooloolaba begin at 7am with the young athletes competing in 2km runs. Flags will start from 4.30pm. Competitors aged from 30 to 75 will also hit the water at Mooloolaba on Saturday with the masters open swim events starting from 8am.
