The exhibit runs through April 4.Lauren Hare Facebook Share In the last competition, judges selected 46 works for the exhibit from more than 2,600 entries. “Viewers should expect works that are large and small, naturalistic and stylized, arresting and dynamic,” said Maggie C. North, curator of art for the museums. “Viewers should also expect to, through the works on view, share in the stories of many people, historic and contemporary, who were made visible by the artists that depicted them.” The people represented are workers, artists, activists, immigrants, soldiers, members of the LGBTQ+ community and others.
