Sunset Resorts further delays reopening of Montego Bay properties

MONTEGO BAY Sunset Resorts has further delayed the reopening of two key resorts in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
After announcing back in September that Oasis at Sunset and Sunset Beach Resort, Spa & Waterpark would remain closed until January 2021 while Jamaica awaited an increase in visitor traffic from key feed markets like Canada, the U.S. and the United Kingdom, the resort company has now confirmed that Oasis at Sunset will reopen on Feb. 5 while Sunset Beach Resort will remain closed until July 1, 2021.
According to the company, it arrived at this decision after months of carefully monitoring the current state of travel to Jamaica, taking into consideration both increased health and safety protocols and reduced flight service into the destination.
