Varsity signs MoU with IIL for vaccine production
Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU), Tirupati, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Hyderabad-based Indian Immunological Limited (IIL) towards transfer of technology for production of trivalent vaccine on a commercial scale.
SVVU has not only done extensive research work on ‘Foot rot disease’ caused by Dichelobacter nodosus bacteria, but has also developed the protocol for developing the vaccine at the laboratory-level. The MoU was signed by the varsity’s Registrar T. Madhava Rao and IIL Managing Director Anand Kumar, in the presence of Vice-Chancellor V. Padmanabha Reddy, Director of Research P.Eswara Prasad and IIL R&D head Rajendra.

RGUKT CET 2020 results: The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Andhra Pradesh released the final answer key and result for the RGUKT CET 2020 – the common entrance test for admission to six yar integrated BTech programmes and two and three-year diploma programmes at RGUKT, Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, and YSR Horticultural University.
To check the result candidates need to have their admit card or unique id mentioned on it with them. Those who have appeared for the exam can check their result by following these steps –

Gurram Vamsi Krishna, a student of the AP Model School at Dachepalli in Guntur district, came first in the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) Common Entrance Test - 2020 by securing 99 out of 100 marks.
Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh released the results of the test at a press conference here on Saturday. P. Zakir Hussain from Kadapa district and I.S. Arya Yugandhar from Dolepet Zilla Parishad High School, Rajam, secured the second and third places respectively.
The Minister said the RGUKT had to deviate from its regular practice of admitting students based on their 10th class marks this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic that necessitated cancellation of the 10th class exams and conduct of CET to identify merit students.
