Slovenia urging sides in Israel to prevent further civilian casualties
Ljubljana, 12 May - The Slovenian Foreign Ministry has responded to the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Palestinians by calling on all sides to prevent further civilian casualties.

BELGRADE (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 07th May, 2021) Slovenia would be willing to host a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Joe Biden, the country s foreign ministry told Sputnik. Slovenia would be willing to host such a meeting if both leaders agreed to it.
Slovenia has hosted similar meetings in the past, the press service of the Slovenian Foreign Ministry said.
The White House has recently announced that Biden invited Putin to meet in a European country. Biden said earlier this week that he was hoping to met with Putin in June. The Kremlin said that the date was being discussed.

Ljubljana – Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde will pay a visit to Slovenia on Monday to discuss bilateral relations and priorities of Slovenia’s EU presidency in the second half of the year with Foreign Minister Anže Logar.
The visit aims to strengthen friendly ties and boost political dialogue and cooperation at bilateral and multilateral levels, especially from the aspect of Slovenia’s EU presidency and Sweden’s OSCE presidency this year, the Slovenian Foreign Ministry said as it announced it.
Logar and Linde will hold an online press conference after their meeting, while Linde will also be received by President Borut Pahor at the Presidential Palace.
