DeWine: Monday s vaccinations are the beginning of the end of COVID-19 in Ohio
Eight more Ohio hospitals identified as staging areas for regional vaccine distribution are each expected to receive 975 doses today. In the Mahoning Valley’s region, that staging site is Aultman Hospital in Stark County.

COLUMBUS The first coronavirus vaccine distributions in Ohio Monday were “truly a moment of hope” in the state’s nearly yearlong battle against COVID-19, said Gov. Mike DeWine.
Though national experts said Monday the American public could achieve herd immunity from coronavirus by late spring or early summer, DeWine cautioned Ohioans from becoming complacent.
