Hudson Reporter Third man charged in 2019 Jersey City alleged arson × The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Regional Arson Task Force has arrested and charged a third person in an arson fire at La Tribu Minimart on Princeton Ave. in Jersey City on June 9, 2019. Jersey City resident Jeremiah Lane, 29, is charged with Aggravated Arson and Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Arson. Officers arrested Lane on Monday, April 19,  at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City after he turned himself in. The alleged arson occurred at approximately 6:18 a.m. Members of the Jersey City Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at 9 Linden Ave. in Jersey City and noticed smoke coming from the first floor store at 343 Princeton Ave.

More than $52K raised for family of children who died in MLK Drive fire Updated Feb 17, 2021; Facebook Share A two-alarm blaze at 470 Martin Luther King Dr. on Feb. 11 killed 8-month-old Keyon Robinson and 11-year-old Desire Reid, while their mom, Angie Reid, and their 6-year-old brother Aamil Reid escaped the fire. The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office’s Regional Arson Task Force is investigating the fire and has not announced the cause of the fire. While there was one anonymous donor who contributed $2,500 to the cause, the fundraisers have proven to be community efforts. More than 1,200 donations have been pledged to the two groups.
