The first video features Hudson County Director of Health & Human Services Darice Toon talking about why she decided to get the vaccine. “Darice Toon’s message to Hudson County residents is both simple and powerful: ‘trust the science, be a part of the solution,’ and I commend her for speaking out about this incredibly important issue,” DeGise said. “In order to beat back this pandemic, we will need as many people as possible to get vaccinated, and that means confronting some very real and historically justified fears, particularly in Black and Latino communities. That’s exactly why this campaign is so important and why we are excited to start it today.”
