Hudson County’s vaccination program is outpacing state expectations, having distributed roughly 70% of its first shipment of vaccines.
The county has received 1,700 doses of vaccines from the state, and as of Wednesday, had administered 1,160 of them at the Hudson Regional Health Commission’s vaccination site in Kearny. The state expected the county to have distributed 60% of its first shipment by now, officials said.
