Last weekend, the Colonial Pipeline announced they were the victim of a cybersecurity attack and, as a precaution, shut down the pipeline, which runs from Texas to New York Harbor. Colonial Pipeline delivers approximately 45 percent of all fuel to the East Coast, according to Triple-A. The pipeline is running again but officials believe it will take a few more days before service returns to normal from Texas to New York, leaving demand to spike again.

County Bridge 241 is located approximately 0.3 miles east of the intersection of State Route 52 and DeWitt Flats Rd and will be closed to all traffic starting 8 a.m. on June 1, 2021, according to the Sullivan County Division of Public Works. County Bridge 241 and the roads near the bridge will remain closed for about four months, until around October 2021, officials say.
