Newport News Shipbuilding carries on with maintenance and modernisation of USN submarine.
Repair, maintenance and modernisation work on the
Helena (SSN 725) will continue for another month, after the Newport News Shipbuilding division of Huntington Ingalls Industries received an $8.78 million contract modification.
Work is now scheduled for completion in May 2021, the DoD noted on 7 April.
