An important group for reaching herd immunity was finally authorized by the FDA to get the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine. So, it s very important for us to be able to have a way to not only protect the population, but also reduce the spread to other people, said Dr. Karen Landers.
Dr. Karen Landers with the Alabama Department of Public Health says getting another group of Alabamians vaccinated will help stop the spread of coronavirus.

MADISON CO., Ala. (WAFF) - One person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon in Madison County.
Madison County Coroner, Dr. Tyler Berryhill said 30-year-old David Robinson died during a car crash that occurred on Pulaski Pike in Toney. According to HEMSI, woman was transported to Huntsville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries said officials.
Authorities received reports of an accident around 3:45 p.m. on May 9. Robinson was pronounced dead shortly after 4 p.m. due to injured sustained in the accident, said Dr. Berryhill. HEMSI confirmed two vehicles were involved in this crash.
