All hospitals to update data regarding beds, patients and oxygen on online portal: Haryana CM ANI | Updated: May 06, 2021 16:54 IST
Chandigarh (Haryana) [India], May 6 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday directed that data regarding hospital beds, number of patients, and availability of oxygen at all government and private hospitals should be updated on an online portal in view of coronavirus cases in the state.
Addressing district deputy commissioners of the state over a virtual video conference, Khattar directed the district administrators to form teams in order to monitor the demand for oxygen and the oxygen tankers.
He also said that the unloading of oxygen tankers is to be done immediately.

Chandigarh, May 6 : Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has been adopting proactive strategies to effectively contain the spread of coronavirus in the state by increasing testing with focus on rural areas where the cases have been spiking.
As per his office, in the last eight days, he has travelled to 17 districts to review arrangements. In the coming days, he would be visiting the remaining five districts too.
Quoting experts, the Chief Minister said a potential rise in the cases is expected and therefore all Deputy Commissioners have to play a pivotal role by ramping up management preparations coupled with aggressive surveillance, stringent containment and focused clinical management, especially in rural areas.
Gurugram sets up call centre to address Covid complaints

Gurugram, May 6 : The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) on Thursday set up a call centre at its Sector-34 office for public representatives and citizens in view of the increasing Covid cases in the district.
MCG officials said that the call centre will work 24x7 with dedicated staff to address all Covid related complaints.
After receiving a complaint, the staff will immediately forward it to the concerned authorities and will also get feedback from the complainants about the action taken on their grievances. Complaints related to Covid-19 will be received on the helpline numbers 9821395170 and 9821395171. The public representatives of the district will be able to lodge complaints related to Covid from their concern areas on these numbers. Chandigarh (Haryana) [India], May 6 (ANI): While reiterating his commitment that every needy has the first right on the government, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced to give medical assistance to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) families so that needy or poor persons do not lose their lives because of financial issues during COVID-19 pandemic.
Addressing a digital press conference on Wednesday, the Chief Minister announced that the Haryana government will provide assistance of Rs 5,000 per patient per day (maximum 7 days) i.e. Rs 35,000 to the patients belonging to BPL who are admitted in private hospitals and are on oxygen or ICU support.
