Now GMDA, FMDA to receive EDC payments ​ By IANS | Published on ​ Fri, Apr 9 2021 23:12 IST | ​ 6 Views   Gurugram, April 9 : In a bid to raise the income of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced on Friday that from now the money earned from External Development Charges (EDC) will be deposited in the GMDA. Similarly, the EDC payments from Faridabad district will be made to the FMDA. Both the development agencies will now have full control on the deposits received from the EDC. Khattar was in Gurugram on Friday to chair GMDA s annual meeting. In another major step, it was decided that half of the stamp duty will now go to the GMDA.
