KP Food Authority Launches a New App to Improve Quality of Food Businesses Named “Staso Raaye” ( Your Opinion), the application notifies users about hygiene, adulteration, employee fitness, cleanliness, temperature management, action, overall performance, public review, and overall performance of a particular food outlet. ALSO READ FSHFA’s General Manager IT, Amir Shehzad, launched the application which can be downloaded from Google Play Store. While addressing the launch ceremony, Shehzad said the application only contains the information of geo-tagged food businesses of Peshawar for now, adding that information of businesses from the rest of the province will be integrated in the coming weeks.

300kg unhygienic food items discarded National February 21, 2021 PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority has disposed of more than 300kg items including unhygienic spices and stale fish in various districts of the province. A press release issued on Saturday said that the authority also discarded 250 litres expired drinks and cooking oil in Lower and Upper Dir districts. According to Director General of the Authority Shahrukh Ali Khan, the staff of the Authority also sealed several hotels and shops in the districts for insanitary conditions.
