BRENTWOOD – The Massachusetts state trooper charged with felony domestic violence in connection with an incident involving his extramarital girlfriend Jan. 31 in Exeter has been denied bail by a Rockingham Superior Court judge.
Judge Martin Honigberg wrote in a decision released Tuesday that Trooper Sgt. Bryan Erickson presented a level of a danger. He cited the charge he allegedly sought to control the actions of his girlfriend the day leading into their altercation during the early morning hours of Jan. 31, and then allegedly drove through residential Exeter streets at high speed to avoid being stopped by local police.
Hank Brennan, one of Erickson’s attorneys, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
