The Hopkins County Health Department has reported another COVID-19 related death in the last week.
It brings the pandemic death toll in Hopkins County to 147 and officials there also reported 29 new cases in the last week.

KENTUCKY (WFIE) - Hopkins County Health Department announced on Facebook that nurses at district schools will be offering the Pfizer vaccine at school next week.

Officials with the health department say they will be sending consent forms and information sheets out on Thursday and Friday. They ask you to send them back to school completed if you want the nurse to give your child the vaccine.

KENTUCKY (WFIE) - On Tuesday, the Green River District reported one new COVID-19 related death and 54 additional cases.
Health officials say 20 of those newly reported cases were from Daviess County, 14 were from Webster County, nine were from Henderson County, five were from Ohio County, three were from Union County, two were from Hancock County and one was out of McLean County.
The COVID-19 related death was a resident of Henderson County.
