The first day of a fundraising campaign for the new Small Business Division of The United Way of the Pennyrile was a huge success Tuesday as the special cupcakes at Joelle’s quickly sold out. The special United Way cupcakes were gone after just a few hours, but they will be back today and will also be available at Joelle’s through the end of the month. A portion of all United Way cupcakes sales will benefit the 2021 campaign. Those interested in helping the fundraiser can pre-order cupcakes by calling Joelle’s. Chaired by Executive Director of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, Sova and General Sales Manager Traci Mason with WHOP Radio, the small business portion of the fundraising has only been focused on for a day or two.
