Alligator captured Wednesday on Fred Hartman Bridge (Source: Harris County Constable s Office, Pct. 8) Wednesday turned out to be Wild Kingdom in the Houston area after both a cow and a gator were caught.  According to Chief Deputy Jason Finnen with Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 8, they received a call just after 10:30 a.m. about an alligator on the Fred Hartman Bridge.  (Source: Harris County Constable s Office, Pct. 8) Finnen said a game warden with Texas Parks and Wildlife was able to capture the alligator and safely relocate him to a nearby body of water about a hour and a half later.

Eight suspects were taken into custody and no one was injured in the three separate high-speed police pursuits. In the first case, two people around 10:30 p.m. robbed a convenience store at gunpoint, said Lt. R. Willkens of the Houston Police Department. The duo grabbed money from the cash register and fled in a silver Chevy Impala from the store, located at  738 Lathrop Street in northeast Houston.
