Three armed suspects reportedly carjacked an Uber Eats delivery driver on Friday afternoon in northwest Harris County, officials said.
Constable deputies were investigating the incident around 1 p.m. on the 4000 block of Swinden Drive, according to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
The suspects shot and robbed the driver in his white Chevy Malibu, Herman said. The driver s condition was unknown.
Residents should expect a heavy police presence and avoid the area.

The robbers reportedly waited on a side street for the victim to make a stop before they attacked the driver and stole the 2012 white Chevy Malibu.

Child found walking in roadway in Fairfield returned to parents, deputy constables say

CYPRESS, Texas – Deputy constables have found the parents of a child they said was found walking in the roadway in Fairfield Friday.
Deputy constables said they located the child, who is described as being a white male child between the ages of three and six, walking in the roadway at Mason Road and Maple Village Drive.
