When an officer overseeing the human trafficking unit at a Texas police department interviewed female deputies about participating in undercover operations, he asked them the same question: Do you have what it takes?
What it took, the women now claim, was attending fake bachelor parties where they were asked to act as prostitutes, wear revealing clothes and drink excessive alcohol in the company of drunk male supervisors.

A Tesla that was involved in a fatal crash in Southern California last week was operating on Autopilot at the time, it has been revealed. The crash is still is under investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a report from ABC noted on Friday.
The crash, which took place on May 5 in Fontana, killed the 35 year old driver after his Model 3 hit an overturned semi on the freeway. A second person was seriously injured after the Model 3 hit him, while he was trying to help the driver of the overturned semi.

The NTSB has issued its preliminary report on the fatal Texas Tesla crash that took the lives of the vehicle s two occupants last month. While the preliminary report notes that all aspects of the crash remain under investigation as the NTSB determines the probable cause, the report did touch on several key points.
The report noted that:
Footage from the vehicle s owner s home security system showed the owner entering the car’s driver’s seat and the passenger entering the front passenger seat . It has been called into question whether or not there was anyone in the driver s seat

HOUSTON, TX. (KPLC) - A Lake Charles man is accused of attempting to solicit a minor in Houston, according to the Harris County Precinct One Constable’s Office.
Deputies with the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit of the Constable’s Office arrested Keith Cooley, 63, who they say crossed states after believing he had solicited a 14-year-old girl on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
However, deputies say Cooley was actually speaking to a Constable Investigator that was posing as a teenage girl since mid-April 2021. During the conversations, they say Cooley shared explicit photos of himself.
