Nadya Korytnikova January 12, 2021 01:02PM By Nadya Korytnikova, Record-Journal staff Berlin and Plainville economic development officials recently met with members of the Greater New Britain Chamber of Commerce to discuss current and planned projects. Despite the slowdown in economic activity during the COVID-19 pandemic, Berlin began working on a few major initiatives this past year.  On project is Turnpike Ridge — a $13 million mixed-use complex near Deming Road with 72 market-rate apartments and 18,000-square-feet of new restaurant and retail space.
