A Connnecitcut woman in her 20s was found shot multiple times in the passenger seat of a vehicle.
The shooting took place around 4:30 p.m., Monday, July 26, when Hartford Police officers responded to the area of 1 New Road for a report of a shooting.
Once on the scene, officers located the victim suffering from numerous gunshot wounds, said Hartford PD Lt. Aaron Boisvert.
She was transported to an area hospital for treatment. She is currently listed in stable condition, Boisvert said.
The events that led up to the shooting are currently under investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.

A person is in critical condition after they were shot in Hartford on Sunday, according to police.

The 19-year-old man is currently listed in critical condition at the hospital, according to authorities.

HARTFORD Police say a man in his 50s was sent to a hospital Monday with a gunshot wound.
The man has a non-life-threatening injury, according to a release from Lt. Aaron Boisvert.
Police were sent to the 300 block of Garden Street on Monday around 5:14 p.m. in response to a report that a person had been shot, Boisvert wrote.
Police found a man with “an apparent gunshot wound” when they arrived, according to Boisvert. He was sent to a hospital, Boisvert wrote.
