Major League Baseball announced the full 2021 Minor League Baseball schedule on Thursday, including the 120-game slate for the Richmond Flying Squirrels, who will open their season at The Diamond on Tuesday, May 4.
Information regarding game times and ticket details will be announced at a later date.

Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots, the Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, have announced that the team has reached 1,000 deposits for brand new season ticket accounts for the upcoming 2021 season. Ever since the announcement was made that we were selected as the Yankees Double-A affiliate, the response has been overwhelming, said Somerset Patriots President/General Manager Patrick McVerry. It started out with an incredible amount of requests and has been steady every day since. We are excited to introduce our team to a whole new audience of baseball fans, while also making sure our longtime fans always remain at the top of our list.
Geographically speaking, the Albuquerque Isotopes were part of a major relocation project Friday.
The ‘Topes went to bed Thursday night as members of the Pacific Coast League’s Pacific Southern Division. They awoke as members of the directionally confusing Professional Development League. Albuquerque will compete in the East Division of the Triple-A West.

According to a sweeping overhaul of baseball’s minor leagues announced Friday, the Isotopes will be part of the 10-team Triple-A West drawn up to be travel-friendlier than was the former 16-team PCL alignment. Albuquerque lands in a division with the El Paso Chihuahuas, Oklahoma City Dodgers, Round Rock Express and Sugar Land Skeeters.

These teams, selected as partners by Major League Clubs, will provide both facilities and communities that are essential to the development of the next generation of big-league stars.
