The mother of a seven-week-old baby has been arrested after the infant was taken from a hospital in Birmingham earlier today.
The baby girl - who is subject to child protection arrangements - was taken from Heartlands Hospital at 8.30am this morning (May 30) and a major police operation was launched to find her.
It took police 12 hours to locate the child, who was found with her mother at a property in Sparkhill at 8.30pm tonight.
