Maximo Park and Embrace to play Hardwick Festival

Embrace MUSIC fans at one of the North-East’s main events this summer can now enjoy more top acts, with the announcement of additional big names. Indie rock bands Maximo Park and Embrace will be entertaining fans with decades of hits when they take to the stage at Hardwick Festival, which takes place from 21 to 22 August at County Durham’s Hardwick Hall Hotel. Maximo Park formed in Newcastle in the early 2000s and have gone on to perform around the world and produce seven studio albums, with popular singles including Our Velocity, Graffiti and Books From Boxes. The group will take to the stage on Saturday, where music fans can also hear new music from their latest album, Nature Always Wins, which was released earlier this year and debuted at number two in the UK Albums Chart.

Hardwick Park to host tribute acts, X Factor stars and family fun A COUNTY Durham hotel is putting the finishing touches to a packed summer line up, featuring tribute acts, X Factor stars and family fun. Following the huge success of last year’s events, Sedgefield’s Hardwick Hall Hotel has announced the return of its popular outdoor spring/summer sessions from the end of May to June 20. Tribute acts Killer Kollective and Oasish kick off the events on May 28, entertaining rock fans with the bands’ hits, while X Factor stars will take centre stage the following evening, with music from Lucy Spraggan, 2017 winners, Rak Su and He Knows, She Knows.
