Sass with sustenance, along with a side of sensuality.
During a recent interview from her home in London, the inimitable Lawson talked about a wide range of topics â from living with pandemic rules to her favourite dishes and her latest cookbook:
Cook, Eat, Repeat â Ingredients, Recipes and Stories (HarperCollins Publishers.)
The book offers more than 100 recipes, and just brims with flavour and delightful stories written in Lawsonâs trademark engaging style. And, again, Lawson goes back to what she cherishes the most â recipes that reveal the rituals of her home and kitchen. Her descriptions are unique and a treat â at one point referring to anchovy as âthe bacon of the sea,â which makes superb sense.
Nigella Lawson s all about sass and sustenance, with a side of sensuality

NEW YORK Filmmaker-actor Ron Howard and actor Clint Howard, brothers, former child stars and fellow Hollywood veterans, will now share their unusual story in book-length form.
The Howards have a deal with William Morrow for “The Boys: A Memoir of Hollywood and Family,” scheduled to come out Oct. 12. According to William Morrow, a HarperCollins Publishers imprint, the book will help answer a perennial question asked of Ron Howard: What was it like to grow up on television?
The reader can alphabetically browse countries from Argentina to Vietnam, while finding quotes taken from Bourdain’s TV shows, interviews and other appearances in each section. Woolever adds her own touch, not only providing vital information such as hotel prices and train stations, but also discussing her personal travel
experiences
.
There are also short essays provided by other chefs, crew and family members on places they have been to with Bourdain. The text is accompanied by stylish but minimal illustrations by Wesley Allsbrook.
The drawings
are charming but leave you wanting more: many of the dishes and cities described are left to the reader’s imagination.
Moxie: A whitewashed account of second-wave feminism

I ve lost count of the number of people who have recommended Jennifer Mathieu s best-selling book
Moxie (Roaring Brook Press, 2017) to me. All I ever saw about the book were torrents of positive reviews on social media, one following another.
I was caught in the waves of this excitement, and my expectations for the book were sky-high.
Moxie soon rose up the ranks until it topped my personal to-be-read list for over a year. It was when I got wind of a then-upcoming Netflix adaptation that I couldn t waste any more time, and I went and bought myself a paperback copy.
