CLEVELAND As Ohio’s daily COVID vaccination numbers have experienced a downward trend in recent weeks, efforts are being made to encourage more people to go out and get a shot.
On Monday, Sen. Sherrod Brown visited the Wolstein Center’s mass vaccination clinic to discuss “the positive differences COVID-19 vaccines will make for Northeast Ohio families and communities.”

CLEVELAND, Ohio The Executive Committee of the Cleveland State University Board of Trustees finalized a contract extension for President Harlan Sands through June of 2026.
The board voted unanimously in March to extend Sands’ contract “to continue expanding CSU’s transformational reach,” according to a statement released Saturday afternoon.
Sands’ five-year contract was set to expire in 2023, the university says.
