Florida homeless knife sharpener Phil Vanderhoof, dead at 68

He was 68. Phil Vanderhoof s brother, Mark Vanderhoof, shared his brother Phil s passing on a local social media page. Mark Vanderhoof indicated in his post that his brother passed away at Halifax Health Medical Center of Port Orange. It was not immediately known when Phil Vanderhoof was hospitalized. “I am sorry to say my brother Phil did not make it,” Mark Vanderhoof posted around 10 p.m. Monday. “Many of you know him as The Knife Man. ” Mark Vanderhoof did not return messages on Tuesday and his telephone was not taking voice messages.
