The home was placed in an outbreak last week after one staff member tested positive for the virus. It was confirmed by HHHS that while the staff member tested positive for the coronavirus, they tested negative for any variants of concern. “This news is shared with a sense of cautious optimism as we know that this testing provides us with an early snapshot of the situation and that we must remain extremely vigilant in our infection prevention and control practices,” HHHS officials say in a Facebook post. “HHHS will continue to closely monitor residents who will remain in isolation for the remainder of the outbreak.
