SEVENTEEN more deaths of Covid patients have been recorded at Cheshire hospitals in the latest NHS England data published today (Friday, January 22), including six at the Countess. The sad news of the latest deaths comes as hospitals across the nation continue to treat higher numbers of coronavirus patients than at any other point of the pandemic. The latest NHS England figures recorded:
Six deaths at the Countess of Chester Hospital Trust – one patient died on January 19, three on January 20 and two on January 21.
Two deaths at the East Cheshire Trust – both on January 21
Two deaths at the Mid-Cheshire Hospitals Trust – one on January 18, one on January 19
