One COVID-related death and 17 new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit on Tuesday morning.
Seven new recoveries were also reported, making the local number of active cases 81 between the two counties.

Since the pandemic began there have been 817 positive cases of COVID-19 in Haldimand and Norfolk. Of the positive cases, 697 people have recovered.

Sixteen new cases of COVID-19 and six new recoveries were reported by the Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit on Monday morning, making the local number of active cases 72 in the two counties.
Over the weekend, 22 new cases were reported in the area, seven on Saturday and 15 on Sunday.

On Monday afternoon, the health unit declared COVID-19 outbreaks at Caressant Care in Courtland, Norview Lodge in Simcoe and Beacon Home community residence in Dunnville. One staff member at each facility has tested positive for COVID-19.
