Police Blotter: People Walking Around At 3 AM Are Theft Suspects; Woman Skipping Out On Paying For $29 Artificial Eyelashes Saturday, July 3, 2021 A woman on East 45th Street called police to say a man had come onto her property and was harassing her. When police arrived the woman said that after the officer left on a previous call for suspicious activity, the man came to her fence and was telling her that she is the reason he is being evicted from her home. The officer spoke to the man who said he was speaking to her from the street and had told her that she is the reason he is being evicted from his home. The man said his wife has cancer and that he hopes that the woman will get evicted from her home so that she goes through what he is. The woman said the man threatened her by saying that he would try to have her evicted from her home and that is how he was harassing her. Police Blotter: Sneaky Driver With Bedazzled License Plate Still On The Loose; Stolen Vehicle Ended Up 3 Houses Down Thursday, May 13, 2021 An anonymous caller from N. Orchard Knob Avenue told police someone in a dark gray or black Audi wanted him to get in the vehicle. Police observed the dark gray Audi Q7 with a temporary tag and a bedazzled plate cover. This vehicle has evaded police multiple times and they know who is suspected to be the driver. However, police were unable to identify who was driving the vehicle due to it being dark. The vehicle ran from police towards East Ridge.

Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball Has Opening Day May 1 Monday, April 26, 2021 Mountain City Base Ball Club and the Lightfoot Club of Chattanooga open up their season May 1 at 2 p.m. outside of 6th Cavalry Museum in Fort Oglethorpe. These teams play to the rules and costumes of 1864 in the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball and are both historically-based Chattanooga teams you can find in newspaper clippings from the 1800s.  Come out and enjoy some base ball.
